Driven by purpose and a solutions-first mindset, Clark believes success is only meaningful when it creates lasting value for others.
Philanthropy and Community Contributions
As an active philanthropist, Clark Swanson has devoted significant time and resources to advancing cancer research—particularly in the search for a cure. In 2018, he founded Flavocure Biotech, Inc., assembling a world-class team of scientists and advisors under the research banner of Harvard Medical School. His leadership and investment contributed to the successful submission of an Investigational New Drug (IND) application to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.
Human clinical trials are expected to begin under the stewardship of Johns Hopkins University and the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute at Harvard. During his tenure as Vice Chairman, Mr. Swanson worked hand-in-hand with Dr. Calderon in leading grassroots awareness campaigns for pancreatic cancer and worked closely with the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network (PANCAN), the largest nonprofit network of its kind in the United States.
During the height of the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic, Clark Swanson stepped in to fund and lead a research initiative driven by one core purpose: to accelerate the search for a cure when the world needed it most. He assembled a scientific team focused on developing flavonoid-based therapies, rooted in natural compounds with antiviral potential. This mission culminated in a patent co-authored by Mr. Swanson, titled "NS2B/NS3 Protease and PI4-Kinase Inhibitors for the Treatment of COVID-19 and Influenza Viruses Using Nanoparticulate Biomaterials."
This work was not just about science—it was about hope. Mr. Swanson’s efforts reflected his deep commitment to using innovation and philanthropy to solve urgent, real-world problems. He has also been honored by Autism Speaks® and the American Red Cross® for his continued support of life-changing charitable causes.

Supporting Education Through the Nevada NEED Initiative
When Clark saw the challenges facing Nevada’s public schools, he knew something had to change. That’s why he founded the Nevada Educational Enrichment Directive (NEED), an initiative that connects educators, state leaders, and business professionals to find practical, bipartisan solutions. By prioritizing quality education, better access, and safer environments, Clark hopes to create real opportunities for every child in Nevada to succeed.
Raising Awareness About Pancreatic Cancer with PANCAN
During his tenure as Vice Chairman of Flavocure, Clark developed community-based outreach to educate and engage the public about pancreatic cancer. Working closely with the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network (PANCAN), the largest pancreatic cancer-focused nonprofit in the United States, he championed awareness to bring greater attention to one of the most challenging cancers to treat. For Clark, this work is personal, driven by a genuine, ongoing desire to make a difference in the fight against cancer.
Creating a Better World Together
Whether he’s working with educators, scientists, or community leaders, Clark understands that meaningful progress comes from teamwork. Through trailblazing healthcare solutions, amplifying underrepresented communities, and supporting organizations rooted in compassion and action, Clark uses his energy to uplift those who need it most. His heart lies in extending a helping hand to build a kinder, stronger world for future generations.
